We stayed at Cháteau de Beaulieu during a trip to France in August 2008. It was the best part of the entire trip by far. We took advantage of the tours offered by the owners (Sharon and Edward) that made the trip even better. Edward's knowledge of the D-day events really made them come alive for us and Sharon's tour of Mont St Michel was equally as nice. Their knowledge of the area and its history made the trip even more memorable for us. The accommodations at the Cháteau are second to none. The rooms and adjoining bathrooms have been completely renovated and are very relaxing, and the beds are some of the most comfortable we have ever tried. The food was great and the company even better. Edward and Sharon really made us feel welcome and at home for our brief stay.
Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
